900 West Capital

Originally built as a substation and office for AT&T, the existing four-story, 120,000 square foot office building is located near the Arkansas State Capitol Building. The challenge for the project was to turn an older, vacant building into Class A office space.

Des Moines Fire Station No. 10

Fire Station Number 10 was a prototype building for the City of Des Moines intended to be constructed in new neighborhoods as the City expanded. The budget demanded homebuilder technology.

University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Emergency Trauma Center

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics recently completed a 7-year, 13-phase remodel and expansion of the Emergency Trauma Center. Our office was the architect of record and worked with RTKL Chicago, the medical design consultant.

West Zone Maintenance Facility

The West Zone Maintenance Facility in Des Moines, Iowa centralizes multiple small storage and maintenance buildings, as well as staff offices, on the west side of Des Moines. Designed for heavy use and long term durability, the building is the first LEED Certified building for the City of Des Moines and the anticipated pay-back for this environmentally project was seven years.
