10th Street Lofts

This project converted two historic buildings, Standard Glass and Paint Building with the Herring Motor Car Company Building, into 96 apartments in downtown Des Moines. The two buildings totaled 96,000 square feet. Both buildings were nominated and placed on the National Historic Registry.

14Forty Lofts

The project is located along the Pappajohn Sculpture Park on the near west side of downtown Des Moines, Iowa, and is a blend of commercial office space, 57 enclosed heated parking spaces, as well as, 37 apartment living units.

Artisan Row Town Homes

This project adds an owner occupied living option to the Western Gateway area of downtown Des Moines. The townhomes circle the block and frame the street along Grand Avenue, Ingersoll Avenue, and 16th and 17th Streets.

Carbon 550 Apartments

Currently under construction on the northwest corner of the downtown Des Moines YMCA urban block, this apartment building will contain 53 market rate apartments.

Grand View University Student Housing

The “L” at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa is a 132-unit dormitory located on the north side of their campus. The project was intended to complete that part of the campus with detailing and materials selected to match existing buildings and further define the campus.

Level on Locust Lofts

Level on Locust Lofts is a historic renovation and rehabilitation of two former warehouse buildings downtown in St. Louis, MO. Our office is the architect for the rehabilitation of the 12 story Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney Warehouse at 917 Locust and the 5 story Leacock Sporting Goods Building into 88 apartments with full tenant amenities on the lower level.

Station 121

The Mack-International Motor Truck Corporation Building (rehabilitated and renamed Station 121) occupies a prominent corner lot in the heart of the former automobile sales, service, and manufacturing district known originally as “Auto Row”. Auto Row sat on the western edge of the downtown commercial core in what is now Des Moines’ Western Gateway, whose centerpiece is the Pappajohn Sculpture Park.

VUE Apartments

VUE Lofts, completed in 2018, is located on the immediate north side of downtown Des Moines, Iowa. The project contains 111 units in three separate buildings.
