900 West Capital

The building was originally built for AT&T and was most recently the headquarters for the Dillard’s department stores. Our challenge was to turn a neglected 118,000 sf existing office building into Class ‘A’ office space and add a 17,000 sf addition overlooking the state capitol building. This adaptive reuse is the new home to five agencies for the State of Arkansas including: Arkansas State Library and Economic Development Authority.

Kum & Go Stores

Kum & Go LLC has long prided itself in being a good corporate citizen, and in 2008 directed our office to build all Kum & Go stores to the LEED Certified level of construction or better. To date over 70 stores have received such recognition. Our pace of LEED Certified stores is currently at 35 to 45 stores per year. To that end, we have become expert at interpreting USGBC requirements and meeting their expectations.

City of Des Moines – West Zone Maintenance Facility

The West Zone Maintenance Facility in Des Moines, Iowa centralizes multiple small storage and maintenance buildings, as well as staff offices, on the west side of Des Moines. Designed for heavy use and long term durability, the building is the first LEED Certified building for the City of Des Moines and the anticipated pay-back for this environmentally project was seven years.
