ID8 Architects’ capabilities include effective program data gathering, project administration, program coordination and evaluation, ADA consultation, site analysis and selection, zoning assistance, project development, scheduling, budgeting, landscaping, architectural design, presentations, production of construction documents, engineering coordination, contractor selection, interior space planning and furnishings coordination, building renovation and retrofit, project observation, and record drawings. We are also experienced team leaders when outside design and construction specialists are required.

Key Qualifications: Bachelors of Architecture degree, minimum. 4+ years of experience in architectural design and construction drawings. Licensed or on the way to licensure. Proficiency with Revit preferred, AutoCAD would be nice. Understanding building design principles. Passion for quality and close attention to detail. Hand drawing ability preferred. Knowledge of Building Codes, ADA Accessibility Guidelines, Building Systems, and Construction Technology. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Track record of completing projects on-time and to specification. Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities: Manage projects, large and small, from inception to completion. Contribute to both exterior and interior architectural designs. Develop and refine design concepts, integrating building systems and ensuring adherence to project aesthetics. Support construction phase activities, including reviewing shop drawings, addressing contractor inquiries, and coordinating with project consultants. Coordinate with various disciplines and consultants to integrate engineering systems into the project design. Conduct comprehensive code and ADA accessibility reviews for projects. Assist with project scheduling, management, and architectural data management.
