Level on Locust Lofts is a historic renovation and rehabilitation of two former warehouse buildings downtown in St. Louis, MO. Our office is the architect for the rehabilitation of the 12 story Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney Warehouse at 917 Locust and the 5 story Leacock Sporting Goods Building into 88 apartments with full tenant amenities on the lower level.

The project provides studio, 1- and 2-bedroom units. Amenities include a community room, computer lab, exercise facilities, common area gaming room as well as administrative offices.

Windows systems required repair, replacement, and restoration. New wood or aluminum windows that were sympathetic to the wood or steel originals were specified and detailed in order to meet the Secretary of the Interior’s requirements for replacement windows.

The project also includes a corner lot building that has been demolished for five 2- and 3-story townhouses.
