Sarto was an upscale men’s and women’s clothing store in the West Glen development in West Des Moines. The goal was to create an environment where high quality merchandise could be displayed. Quantity was never the issue with the owner. Buyer experience was the driving force behind the design.

The store was designed to reflect the modern European clothing the store sells. Open. Clean. Flexible. The store serves as a backdrop and lets the clothing decorate the interior.

The raised front entry was designed to create an impressive entry experience but also serve as a visual marker for shoppers coming into the complex.
